All
AIRIBs have an aluminium hull and a maintainable and replaceable buoyancy
collar. The standard inflatable buoyancy collar is a double skin
design with inner air tubes inside an outer protective cover. For
some models we also offer a foam collar alternative.
|
AIRIB is a brand name associated
with quality - quality in design, materials and
construction.
AIRIB is an
Australian made range of rigid inflatable boat (RIB) available
in sizes from dinghies to seagoing and in a wide
choice of fitout including consoles, bowriders and cabins.

Built and sold by
Inflatables RIBs Marine, AIRIBs are one of the few brands of RIB available in
Australia that utilise a double skin buoyancy collar and a removable
system of collar attachment. |
Ed Boast and Jill
Ferguson, the principals of Inflatables RIBs Marine, were the principals of the
business that built the NAIAD brand in Australia from 1988 to 2003
and started building under the AIRIB brand name in 2003.
With 18 years experience in designing, building and using RIBs they are
arguably the most experienced RIB builders in Australia. They continue
to support with advice, service and spare parts all of the vessels they
have built as well as other brands.
All sales of new
AIRIBs are made direct from the builder to the customer. Service and
repair of AIRIBs can be done by Inflatables RIBs Marine or by any
experienced inflatable boat repairer.
Inflatables RIBs Marine is a
specialist in the repair and refurbishment of all brands of inflatables and
rigid inflatables. The new Lytton Rd facility features a state of the art
climate controlled bonding room used for the manufacture of hypalon skins and
bonding repairs.
COMMERCIAL
With their strength and
durability AIRIBs are well suited to commercial use. Length, fitout and safety equipment will
determine the passenger numbers and Class of the vessel for commercial
registration.
We can design and fitout a
vessel to the Class and specification you require and deliver it with commercial
registration or commercial survey.
CUSTOM
BUILDS
As well as the standard
models listed in the specification pages and photo gallery, AIRIBs can be
custom designed and finished.
